Time and time again business owners and top management tell us that the number one thing they want to "fix" is the generation gap. The second thing is turnover. Businesses lose their top talent when they are not utilizing their full potential. These same leaders have tried creating mentor programs that ultimately fail.

This program exists to address all of those issues in these ways:

  • We facilitate and provide 3rd party unbiased training and feedback to both mentors and mentees.  
  • We facilitate and guide mentors and mentees through a 12-month dual track coaching program.
  • We prepare your brightest stars with the skills they need to succeed as intrepreneurial leaders in today's complex work environment.

Success includes the ability to work well with the experienced leaders who have the long-term knowledge and work effectively.

Here's the basics of how it works

Step 1. Identify your Mentors

Who will be in charge of shaping the future leaders of your organization? These should be highest level leaders with the experience and expertise to pass on.  The Mentors will learn TypeCoach and be held to a set of coaching standards to ensure all Mentees have equal opportunity to flourish. 

Step 2. Mentees Apply for the Program

Who will be the next level of leaders who will help protect the vision of the company? Your management and up and coming leaders will submit applications to fill the number of coveted spots you've chosen. We will oversee an application process to ensure fairness and avoid any perceived favoritism.

Step 3. Dual Track Mentor/Mentee Coaching 

For the next 10 months both Mentors and Mentees will be on a learning path. Mentors will meet with Lisa Sears, trained Type Coach professional to learn how to expertly coach their teams. The Mentees will meet with Laura Thorne, creator of The Role Model Way!™, a leadership development system to enhance their capability as they also complete selected and approved projects. During this time Mentors and Mentees will have monthly mentor sessions. 

Step 4. Celebrate!

Always celebrate wins! The program ends with the Mentors sharing lessons learned during the program. The Mentees will present their projects to date and their lessons learned. The next round of Mentees (who will already have gone through the application process) will be introduced.
